Nina, Elston and California, Chicago, IL

Nina Rides a Schwinn Traveler circa 1986, nicknamed The Little Mint Monster

I had to include this image because it reminds me of an old Atget store front photo.

Cycling Tip from Nina: Keep a close eye on your tire pressure when the temperatures are this low. It's much easier to lose air when temperatures are below freezing. And low tire pressure = flats!

  1. These people are looking good on bikes. I agree, but where are the well dressed men? Maybe change your about to 'women looking good on bikes'. Just a thought. Nice blog.

  2. Thanks! I started the blog with the specific intent of increasing the visibility of female riders, directly inspired from this Scientific American article: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=getting-more-bicyclists-on-the-road
That said, I don't want to limit myself to photographing just women, so there might be men on the site in the future, just not now.

  6. Woah, this chick is so smokin' hott. How do I contact her?

  7. Sorry Billy. Can't share contact information since you could be a weirdo stalker. Maybe you'll run into each other IRL. Chicago can be a small city.
