N Wells St & W Goethe St, Chicago, IL

This rider prefers to remain anonymous, but she wanted to say that she loves all of the new divided bike lanes in Chicago.
*** On a side note, after nearly a lifetime in Chicago, I learned that this street Goethe is pronounced "Geerta," really!  I guess when you name a street after a person you kind of have to pronounce it right.

  1. Shame on you! Now go pick up a copy of "Faust" immediately. Goethe rules.

  2. hahahaha, I will have to begin that after I'm finished with Kant's Critique of Pure Reason... might be awhile.

  3. It's always amusing to hear the 151 bus drivers' various pronunciations: Goh-thee, Goath, Gerta, Gerty. The combinations are endless. Those umlauts are tough.
